Albanian postal authorities party!
We haven't been able to show them yet (that's why we only show you another stamp from the same country) but in Albania, two stamps that commemorate an anniversary were issued on December the 4th.
Concerned is the 90th bithday of the postal services in the Balcan country. The Albanian postal services were founded shortly after the country gained its independence; not even a week after the country became independent from the Turks things were arranged and signed. May 1913 saw the use of the first 'stamp': a service stamp of the Post Administration (with the Albanese weapon but without value indication). Nowadays, Albania isn't facing stamp shortage anymore: in the year 2000, more than 60 stamps and squares were issued.
